We are grateful to all board members for lending their expertise to our content moderation efforts. We will update this Newsroom Post as additional members are appointed. We look forward to welcoming the new board members into this process. In the time since they began hearing cases and issuing decisions and recommendations, they’ve been playing a bigger role in setting precedent and direction for our content policies and how we enforce them. From its inception, we knew its impact would come not just from its decisions on individual cases, but also from broader recommendations on how we can improve our policies and processes. (Reuters) - Meta Platforms Incs independent Oversight Board said on Thursday that Facebook should not have taken down a newspaper report about the Taliban that it considered positive, backing. The Oversight Board represents a unique model for social media governance. The new members reflect a wide range of views and experiences, and will bring a variety of perspectives to the board’s existing expertise. This body of independent experts, established in late 2020, determines whether content. Back in April 2021, Facebook (now Meta) asked its independent Oversight Board to weigh in. Over the next few months we will continue to support and work with the board to select additional members. Meta formerly Facebook has gone furthest in establishing a self-regulatory mechanism, creating an appeals process for Facebook and Instagram users who disagree with its content moderation decisions in the form of a quasi-judicial Oversight Board. Metas Oversight Board Says Facebook Needs To Change Its Doxing Rules. Per the Oversight Board Bylaws, we worked together with the board to identify and select these members over the last few months. The Irish Data Protection Commission ruled in July that Meta, the parent. These include suggestions to further clarify our policies and improve processes for reviewing content. The Meta-funded Oversight Board, which provides an alternative appeals tribunal for Facebook and Instagram users in the case of their content being removed or otherwise penalized, has shared its Q1 2022 Transparency Report, which provides a full overview of the cases that it’s heard, the recommendations that it’s made, and how Meta then actioned such throughout the first quarter of the year. The board also makes recommendations on how we should handle similar scenarios going forward. The board’s decisions are binding, as long as implementing them won’t violate the law. It is important that any policy Meta implements be appropriate for the full range of circumstances countries find themselves in.Today, Meta welcomes the newest members of the Oversight Board who have just been appointed - Paolo Carozza, Khaled Mansour, and Pamela San Martin. Meta’s Quarterly Updates on the Oversight Board UPDATED We are committed to publishing regular updates to give our community visibility into our responses to the Oversight Board’s independent decisions about some of the most difficult content decisions Meta makes. It establishes a new regulatory oversight board that will allow Europeans to. When the Oversight Board makes a decision, Meta has to follow it. The company now known as Meta’s current policy on sharing private identifying details carves Meta’s Oversight Board urges Facebook and Instagram to tighten doxing rules Taylor Hatmaker. “But this isn’t the case everywhere and the course of the pandemic will continue to vary significantly around the globe - especially in countries with low vaccination rates and less developed healthcare systems. “In many countries, where vaccination rates are relatively high, life is increasingly returning to normal,” it said. To date, Meta says it has removed 25 million pieces of content surrounding COVID-19, ranging from posts about masks and social distancing to the transmissibility of the virus.Īs vaccine rates grow, though, the company is questioning if it needs to police posts quite as thoroughly. “Now that the COVID-19 situation has evolved, we’re seeking the Oversight Board’s opinion on whether we should change the way we address this type of misinformation through other means, like labeling or demoting it.” Shortly after this 2021 ruling from the Oversight Board, Meta announced it would consider allowing. “Under this policy, we began removing false claims about masks, social distancing, vaccines and more,” the company wrote in a blog post. (Reuters) - Meta Platforms Inc's independent Oversight Board said on Thursday that Facebook should not have taken down a newspaper report about the Taliban that it considered positive, backing. The Oversight Boards decision did force Meta to set a timeframe for Trumps suspension, however. Meta, Facebook’s parent company, has approached its Oversight Board, seeking advice on whether the current policy is still appropriate.

Hydroponics is a method that doesn’t require any soil. Compost from fruit and vegetables, or chicken manure, are good examples of this. If you want to avoid using chemicals in your grow and to keep the plant as natural as possible, look to use substances that are completely natural themselves. Organic and non-organic fertilizers are fairly self-explanatory. These can help add important nutrients to the soil that the plant needs to thrive. Some of the most popular ways of feeding a strain are organic fertilizers, chemical fertilizers, and hydroponics. This is considered a reasonably high bud production for a strain Tip #5: Feeding for Bubble Gum And when grown outdoors, they can produce 300 to 400 grams per meter squared (14 ounces). With Bubble Gum, if grown well, you can expect a yield of about 400 to 500 grams per m 2 (16 ounces). In fact, seed banks purposefully develop easily grown strains with high yields for just this reason. You can be a first-time grower and still achieve high success with the number of buds you produce. Often, growers associate high yielding plants with high difficulty strains, but this isn’t always the case. Pruning doesn’t only increase the health of the plant, but spending time pruning can also be therapeutic for you, too. An important trick to know is not to prune during and after the 2 nd week of flowering, as pruning during this time can encourage foliage growth instead of focusing on bud growth. But don’t start too early wait until the plant starts getting bushy so you don’t stunt its growth. Pruning is an essential step in caring for your marijuana plant, and this is certainly true for Bubble Gum. It can be a particularly efficient light source, but others such as LED and fluorescent grow lights can also be used. This light works through a high-pressure sodium vapor which counteracts the yellow glow that is typical of other light sources such as LED, and produces some blue emissions. One viable option is a high-pressure sodium vapor light (HPS). It’s important to know both how to prune Bubble Gum and the best lighting to use in order to promote a healthy plant.īubble Gum does well when lit by a 250 – 400-Watt charge, and can thrive with a variety of different bulbs. Too much moisture in the air can cause the plant to become ‘too wet’, and this encourages mold growth. The best way to protect your plant is by controlling the humidity of the room. So how can growers prevent this difficulty? The most frustrating thing about this type is that by the time you see the mold on the outside of the bud, it has already devastated the inside. One of the most common types of mold is bud rot (botrytis cinerea), which is a mold that develops in the core of the plant’s buds. There’s nothing worse than finding the signs of rot creeping into the buds after weeks of hard work and dedication. Tip #2: Difficulty Growingīubble Gum can be particularly susceptible to mold. Read on to discover just how difficult – or rather, easy – it is to grow Bubble Gum cannabis. If grown well, its highs can be euphoric and induce an intense physical relaxation. And with a name like Bubble Gum, there’s no hiding from its tasty sweet flavor that is remarkably reminiscent of berries. It’s a popular hybrid strain, with indica only just taking dominance, creating a perfect balance. Tip #1: Bubble Gum Strain Reviewīubble Gum has gone on to win the Cannabis Cup in 1994 and has come second twice, in 19. Want to know how to grow your favorite strain? Keep reading this growing guide for Bubble Gum for lots of steps and tips. They managed to stabilize the strain, making its growing habits, flavor and smell as consistent as possible. More specifically it ended up with TH Seeds, who are now one of the oldest seed banks in Holland. However, it didn’t go to plan and the strain, after making a few rounds in Indiana, ended up in Holland. The Bubble Gum strain was initially developed by growers in Indiana, who were trying to create a balance of physical relaxation and a euphoric high. En interior y exterior de clima cálido, buen resultado.Bubble Gum has become renowned for its sweet yet earthy taste and relaxing effects, but it hasn’t always been a stable strain. Produce cogollos macizos copados de resina. Planta de porte medio y escasa ramificación. No experimenta importantes variaciones de unos ejemplares a otros. The researchers said Charlesworth confirmed their interpretation of the marks: The lines that make up what they thought was a stick figure could also be viewed as four Hebrew letters. Jonah written in Modern Hebrew and Ancient Herodian Script similar to the Dead Sea Scrolls Strange markings inside the fish head stood out to the researchers, and they called upon James Charlesworth, a Hebrew script scholar from the Princeton Theological Seminary. Īfter the initial announcement, the team continued to examine the images from their robot scout. They said the image is more likely a funerary monument and not a fish at all. When the tomb and its contents were first disclosed, many biblical scholars offered alternate interpretations of the iconography and disputed the tomb's connections to Christianity. Similar depictions of Jonah were used by later Christian groups and became an important expression of the faith in later centuries. If they fully understand these drawings, the researchers said, then they have found the oldest Christian artifacts, the earliest Christian art and the first evidence of faith in Jesus' resurrection. On one of the ossuaries was an inscription depicting "divine Jehovah," and a second had a picture that appeared to be a fish with a stick figure in its mouth, said to represent Jonah. Here is a list of notable artifact names.Close-up of the Jonah "stick figure" image in an original photo from the exploration (left), and with the engravings in question highlighted (right). As both drones are meant to be piloted in FPV, the cameras have very wide fields of view from 150 to 155 degrees. The Avata, being a filmmaking-centric drone, comes with a slightly larger image sensor.īoth drones can record videos in 4K resolution and 60 fps, but only the Avata can record 2.7K resolution at 120 fps. The DJI FPV comes with an image sensor that is the same size as that found in the DJI Mini 2. Camera ParameterĤK 60 fps, 2.7K 120 fps, 1080p 120 fpsĬamera quality has always been the strong suit of DJI, and they leveraged it well in both the FPV and Avata drones. The choice comes down to the specific use case of the pilot. The FPV was built for speed and durability, while the Avata was for flight stability and safety. With massive design differences, neither the DJI FPV nor the Avata really holds the advantage. The same design consideration is expected of the DJI Avata, although DJI offers propeller duct replacements in case of damage. They also are not expected to fly very fast, so crashes should not be very bad. While durability typically is not the emphasis of CineWhoop drones, they are built to withstand minor crashes when flying in tight spaces. The ducts of the Avata are less prominent compared to standard CineWhoop drones, but detailed testing will have to be done to determine if this has a huge effect on flight performance. True to the CineWhoop design, the Avata features propeller ducts with integrated small landing gear. Leaked photos of the Avata show a blocky body with a top-mounted battery and a front-facing camera. The Avata is just small enough to maneuver through small spaces, which is pretty much the main use case of CineWhoop drones. Although significantly smaller and lighter, the Avata does not quite go below the threshold for avoiding drone registration. The DJI Avata is expected to measure 180 x 180 x 180 millimeters and weighs 408 grams. Should some of the drone’s components break, they can be replaced by the user in a callback to how FPV drones are repaired when they break apart. This is a drone that can crash head-on at maximum Sport Mode speed and still go back to flying. The DJI FPV has been around for several months now and so many tests have vouched for how incredibly tough it is. The body is mostly made of black and gray plastic with a rounded profile that is more prominent towards the front of the drone. It has a front-facing camera consistent with the standard FPV drone design. The propellers have three blades, helping in making the drone more responsive. The propeller arms of the DJI FPV do not fold inward and have permanent landing feet. This makes the DJI FPV substantially larger and heavier than most other FPV drones, likely because of all the extra hardware that you would normally not find in a DIY FPV drone. The DJI FPV measures 255 x 312 x 127 millimeters and weighs 795 grams. It has also been a slight departure from DJI’s successful line of ultra-portable camera drones. DJI is changing the game by offering these drones in pre-built off-the-shelf models made with high-quality parts. A visually distinct feature of CineWhoop drones is the ducts around the propellers that help in keeping flight safe, even in tight or indoor spaces.Ĭommunities have been built around the use of FPV drones and CineWhoop drones, and these communities have mostly thrived by building DIY drones from component parts. Camera quality is a major design consideration for CineWhoop drones. They are built for slow and stable flight, allowing for smooth aerial filmmaking. They are also built to be tough enough to withstand high-speed crashes.ĬineWhoop drones are almost the exact opposite. FPV drones are built for high-speed races with high responsiveness and low latency transmission. This makes flight more impressive, but more importantly, allows for very fast and precise maneuvers. Both these drones appeal to smaller drone markets that have so far been underserved by the large commercial drone brands – FPV drones and CineWhoop drones.įPV drones, as their name suggests, are designed to be piloted in FPV mode. Just comparing the appearance of the DJI FPV and DJI Avata makes it obvious that these are two very different drones. On the Power Manager, you have better targeting abilities, okay? You can create ads on the fly, pretty much. So at some point, you want to graduate from the training wheels, from the basic proposal that the boosted posts are, into a more advanced or more complex way of doing things, which is the Power Manager. The vast majority of ads that you see running on Facebook are dark posts, and that can only be achieved easily with the Power Manager. In other words, they do not post on their fan pages unless they're doing something really specific. But the reality is that most advertisers, and … For example, myself and many other people are advertising heavily on Facebook, they do not use boosted posts on their fan page. Now, the reality is that boosted posts work really, really well when you have a fan page and you want to boost the posts that are on the fan page itself. Now, the reality is that the boosted post side of things is like having training wheels, okay? It's like having training wheels when you're kind of losing the fear of advertising on Facebook and actually spending some money on your business, because it does take some money to lift your business out of the ground, right? Who would say that? Like, there's no such thing as free traffic, as I keep saying that for the past three years.īut the reality is that when you're doing boosted posts, this is like having training wheels, okay? This is like the most basic side of the whole Facebook advertising platform, and it's completely fine when you're starting out, don't get me wrong.ĭon't feel bad if you're still using boosted posts, because at some point, you need the training wheels to learn how to ride a bike, so that you can take them off, and then you can ride a bike, and then you can do bike flips and wherever without breaking your neck, right? So that's amazing, that's an amazing way of starting off. A lot of people are spending a lot of money, actually, using this, boosted posts, okay? So that's all they're doing, they're boosting posts, and that's all they're doing, which is completely fine when you're starting out. Should you use boosted posts, or should you use the Power Manager? Now, here's the thing. “What should I do? Should I do boosted posts for my page? Should I use the Power Manager?” And I'm deliberately using the word “Power Manager,” because I think it was like three days ago, or only 72 hours ago, Facebook finally decided to merge the Power Editor with the Ads Manager together, so now I'm just calling it Power Manager. This is a question that I get a lot on the Facebook group, which is free, that you can join, and this is a question that I get a lot from people who are starting to advertise with Facebook ads. How are you guys doing today? I hope you guys are amazingly well. Hey guys, what's up? Hernan Vazquez here. Would you use boosted posts or the Power Manager to run Facebook ads? Stay tuned, because the fight is going to be epic. Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we have a fight to attend to. Now you can watch the full video above or read the transcript below. At some point, you’d want to graduate from that.īut if you feel like going further, definitely jump into the Power Manager tool.Īlso find out why your Facebook ad not delivering. If you’re just starting out, go with Boosted posts, but have in mind that this is like having “training wheels” for your ads. So, as we can see Power Manager has a lot more to offer.
